No app to download. No account to create. A list, a confirmation, groceries at your door.
Text me your list or fill out the form. I confirm your slot and flat fee before I ever leave the apartment. You know the total before I shop.
No surprises. Ever.
Saturday or Sunday morning I head to 445 Gold Street. Out of stock? I text you from the aisle with alternatives and wait. I never make a substitution call on my own.
Your call, always.
I arrive with your bags and the original Trader Joe's receipt. You look it over, then pay the receipt total plus the flat fee by Venmo, Zelle, or cash. That's it.
The receipt is the bill.
One flat fee based on your grocery total. No fuel surcharges. No mysteries.
Why flat fees? Delivery apps mark up every item 10–20% before you even see the cart. Aislend charges the exact store price on every item — the only addition is one flat fee you know upfront. No surge pricing. No hidden service charges. No tipping pressure.
| Service | Grocery markup | Delivery fee | Payment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aislend | 0% markup | Flat $12–$35 | After delivery |
| Instacart | 10–15% higher | $5–$10 + tip | Upfront |
| DoorDash | 15–20% higher | $5–$12 + tip | Upfront |
Your estimated total at delivery: $103.00
No markups on individual items. No fuel surcharges. No tipping required. Minimum $25 in groceries. A $10 cancellation fee applies if you cancel within 12 hours of your shopping window.
Weekends, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM. Max 10 orders per day.
I sent a list with 14 items — yogurt, eggs, the good sourdough from the bakery section. Everything arrived with the Trader Joe's receipt. $67.43. Exact. Six Sundays in a row.
I used to spend my Sunday mornings at the store. Now I send a list Friday night and by 10 AM on Sunday my groceries are at the door. Oat milk, produce, everything. That hour back every week.
The Kite Hill yogurt I wanted was out. I got a text with a photo of the shelf and two alternatives, prices included, and a wait for my reply. That's the kind of thing you don't expect but then can't imagine going without.
Never. You pay the exact total printed on the store receipt. The only addition is the flat service fee agreed before I shopped. If the receipt says $84.62, you owe $84.62 for groceries.
After delivery, never before. At handoff I show you the store receipt. You verify it, then pay the receipt total plus service fee plus any tip via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. No card required, no prepayment.
I text you from the aisle before I check out. You decide whether to skip the item or pick a substitute. I never make that call without asking you first.
Yes, anytime before your slot is confirmed at no charge. Cancellations within 12 hours of your shopping window incur a $10 fee. Once shopping has started, the order cannot be cancelled.
Completely optional. The tip defaults to zero in the form. No pressure at all — it does not affect service quality in any way.
I deliver in all normal weather including rain, cold, and light snow. In a genuine severe weather emergency with a city advisory, I will contact you immediately to reschedule with no fee or penalty.
No. Aislend is a fully independent personal-shopping service. No store runs, approves, sponsors, or endorses it. I shop there on your behalf the same way a neighbor would.

I run a max of 10 orders each weekend. Submit your list by Friday night — I confirm your slot, fee, and shopping window before I leave for the store.
